Troop/District Information
The NCSHP is divided into nine troops.  Troops A - H are highway troopers.  Troop I is a special designation for the following:

Troop I/I - Criminal Interdiction Team; I/II - Motor Unit; I/III - Collision Reconstruction Team; I/IV - Aviation Unit; I/V - Hazardous Material Unit.  Spouses whose husband or wife is assigned to Troop I should align themselves with the Troop and District  in which they live.

Every Troop, A - H has a District IX (9) - Motor Carrier Enforcement. Spouses whose husband or wife is assigned to District IX should align themselves with the Troop and District in which they live.


Troop A/I - Dare & Currituck; A/II - Hertford, Gates & Bertie; A/III - Pasquotank, Chowan, Perquimans & Camden; A/IV - Beaufort, Washington, Tyrell & Hyde; A/V - Pitt & Martin; A/VI - Craven & Pamlico; A/VII - Lenoir & Jones; A/VIII - Carteret

Troop B/I - Cumberland; B/II - Sampson; B/III - Onslow; B/IV - Duplin & Pender; B/V - Columbus & Bladen; B/VI - New Hanover & Brunswick; B/VII - Robeson; B/VIII - Harnett

Troop C/I - Nash & Edgecombe; C/II - Wayne; C/III - Wake; C/IV - Vance, Warren & Franklin; C/V - Wilson & Greene; C/VI - Johnston;
C/VII - Durham & Granville; C/VIII - Halifax & Northampton

Troop D/I - Chatham & Lee; D/II - Guilford; D/III- Rockingham; D/IV - Person & Caswell;  D/V - Alamance; D/VI - Randolph;
D/VII - Orange

Troop E/I - Davidson; E/II - Stanley & Montgomery; E/III - Rowan; E/IV - Forsyth; E/V - Stokes & Surry; E/VI - Cabarrus;
E/VII - Davie & Yadkin

Troop F/I - Burke; F/II - Wilkes, Ashe & Alleghany; F/III - Caldwell & Watauga; F/IV - Iredell & Alexander; F/V - Catawba & Lincoln

Troop G/I - Yancey, Mitchell, Avery & Madison; G/II - McDowell & Rutherford; G/III - Henderson, Transylvania & Polk; G/IV - Buncombe;
G/V - Haywood & Jackson; G/VI - Swain, Macon, Clay, Cherokee & Graham

Troop H/I - Gaston; H/II - Richmond & Scotland; H/III - Union & Anson; H/IV - Cleveland; H/V - Mecklenburg; H/VI - Moore & Hoke
